IAEC Education explains about the Design courses from Monash University

At Monash University it is believed that design is a constantly evolving discipline that concerns itself with the improvement of humanity, adding value to our culture and contributing to the economy.

At Monash, there are four different specialisations in Design. Students can build a high level of design expertise in the area interests them most. Students do not have to choose from the beginning of the course – they will do that during or after the first year when they have had a chance to explore them all.

Communication design: For those who wish to inform and motivate the world through creative media. Industrial design: For those who want to innovate, improve and enhance the products, systems and services we use every day. Spatial design: For those who wish to combine creative ideas with design thinking techniques to make dynamic spaces for people to inhabit. Collaborative design: For those who wish to apply their multidisciplinary skills across abroad range of applications and media.
